1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that sites store on your device. Together with similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) they make the site work and, where authorised, collect usage statistics. We distinguish between technical cookies (necessary) and analytics cookies (optional, subject to your consent).
2. How we manage consent
On your first visit we show a banner with three options: Accept all, Technical only and Customise. Analytics tools (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity) are not loaded until you give consent: only after your choice are the relevant scripts activated. Your preference is stored locally in the browser (in localStorage, key hs_cookie_consent) and is not shared with third parties.

3. Technical cookies (always on)
Necessary for the site and application to function; no consent required (Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code).

4. Analytics cookies (with consent)
Activated only if you choose "Accept all" or enable the analytics category under "Customise". They help us understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

GA4 is routed through Google Tag Manager: enabling the analytics category loads GTM, which in turn enables GA4.

Analytics providers may process data outside the EU (e.g. the United States) with adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework). For more detail, see their notices:

Besides our panel, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling technical cookies may impair the site's functioning.
