1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms govern access to and use of the home-staged.ai site and the staged.ai application (the "Service"), provided by the operator of staged.ai, VAT 3652876120 (the "Provider"). By creating an account or using the Service you declare that you have read, understood and fully accepted these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
staged.ai lets you upload property photos and obtain, via artificial intelligence models, edited images (home staging, virtual renovation, retouch, room emptying), analyses and works estimates. The Service is offered on a credit basis. The Provider may modify, suspend or discontinue features of the Service, giving reasonable notice where possible.
3. Account and credits
- You must provide truthful information and keep your access credentials confidential.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account.
- Credits assigned or purchased allow use of metered features and are, unless otherwise stated, non-refundable and non-transferable.
- You must be at least 18 and generally act within your professional activity.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- upload content for which you do not hold the necessary rights;
- generate misleading images that falsely represent a property's actual condition, in breach of advertising and fair-dealing rules in real-estate transactions;
- upload unlawful, defamatory, obscene or rights-infringing material, or photos depicting identifiable people without their consent;
- attempt to circumvent credit limits, abusively automate usage, reverse-engineer, overload or compromise the infrastructure;
- resell or redistribute the Service without written authorisation.
Generated images are a tool for enhancement and design: when you publish them in a listing, you agree to clearly state that they are virtual representations ("virtual staging"), in compliance with applicable rules.
5. AI output — limitations
Outputs are generated by artificial intelligence models and are indicative and illustrative in nature. The images, analyses, suggested works and quotes do not constitute technical, construction, legal, tax or property-valuation advice, are not a guarantee of feasibility or price, and may contain inaccuracies or elements that do not match reality.
Cost estimates are parametric and must always be verified with professionals and real quotes. You are solely responsible for how you use the outputs and for the decisions you base on them.
6. Intellectual property
6.1 Your photos
The photos you upload remain your property (or that of the rights holder). You declare and warrant that you hold all rights needed to upload and process them. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process them solely to deliver the Service (generate outputs, save and let you share projects). We do not use your photos for our own purposes unrelated to the Service.
6.2 Generated images
To the extent permitted by law, usage rights in the images generated from your photos are granted to you for use connected with your activity. AI outputs may not be protectable as works of authorship, and similar images could be produced for other users.
6.3 The platform
The software, the "staged.ai" trademark, the design and the site content are owned by the Provider or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law.
7. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit, goodwill or data, nor for damages arising from use of or inability to use the Service or reliance on the outputs. Liability that cannot be excluded by law (wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury) remains unaffected. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights granted to consumers by mandatory law.
8. Suspension and account closure
We may suspend or close your account, even without notice, in case of breach of these Terms, abusive or fraudulent use, security risks or requests by the authorities. You may close your account at any time. Termination does not affect accrued rights and obligations and clauses meant to survive (intellectual property, liability, governing law).
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms for technical, legal or service reasons. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice. Use of the Service after they take effect constitutes acceptance of the changes.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Italian law. The court of the place where the Provider has its registered office shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, save for mandatory consumer-protection rules that locate jurisdiction at the consumer's place of residence or domicile.
